Metalloinvest launches 1.3 bln rbl facility at Mikhailovsky GOK
MOSCOW, Mar 16 (PRIME) -- Russian metals holding Metalloinvest has launched a 1.3 billion ruble concentrate intake facility with a capacity of 3.2 million tonnes at the Mikhailovsky GOK ore mining and dressing plant, the company said in a statement on Friday.
The facility takes and unloads iron ore concentrate from the Lebedinsky GOK plant and passes it to production units of the plant to make high-quality pellets from a mixture of concentrates from the two plants.
The facility allows the Mikhailovsky GOK to raise the quality of the mixture and to produce pellets with an iron content of 65–67%, the company said.
